Revolution studios buys Cold Spring Pictures film library

Summary

Revolution Studios has purchased Cold Spring Pictures’ motion picture library, which includes eight films, one of which is 2009’s Up in the Air, starring George Clooney. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Cold Spring Pictures was created in 2006 as a production facility to co-finance motion pictures produced by Ivan Reitman and Tom Pollock‘s The Montecito Picture Company. Its titles, in which Paramount retains 50 percent ownership, include Disturbia, Up in the Air, Road Trip: Beer Pong, Hotel for Dogs and The Uninvited; plus, No Strings Attached, in which Fox has 50 percent ownership, and two more films, Post Grad and Hitchcock.
